The husband and I sat out on our screened in porch this morning
trying, with every ounce of life in us,
to have a conversation without constant interruption.
{Thank you God for my first cup of coffee that prohibited such constant interruption from driving me over the edge}
We like to dream together,
and it seems that time together on our back porch, is the perfect place for doing just that...dreaming together.
Simple Living...
that's what we talk about most often.
This season of life in Orlando has been such a reprieve for us.
A time for slowing down.
A time for figuring out what really brings our family JOY.
A time with little to no distraction.
This season won't last forever, but the fruit that is harvested from it will.
I'm blown away at how our dreams have changed in the last two years.
Everything has come into clear focus.
John 10:10
Jesus came to give us life and he intended our lives to be full and abundant.

oh those interruptions.... we get those too~ but to chat on the porch with your hubby and talking about your dreams is heaven!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I sit on the back porch quite often and dream, too. what amazes me is when God hears us dreaming and the next day allows some of them to come true. :) Blessings, cat, iblogmoore.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletei love those moments when you get to chat {with few interruptions} and see together how your dreams have unfolded... layer upon layer.
ReplyDeletewishing you many more porch chats with your husband and coffee :)

I was laughing while I was reading your post. So many times we try to just sit down and talk, that seems when they all need your attention. But I love it, ofcourse coffee does miracles :)
