First Bloggy Birthday & A Give Away!

I started blogging one year ago today.
To tell you the truth, it all started because I have this creative something in me, and I needed to let it out.
I don't write books.
...although I feel like I have one in me.
I don't teach art.
...although a love for it started in Mrs. Irvin's 7th grade class where she promised that art is in everyone.
 I don't have a degree in Interior Design.
...although I've been rearranging and decorating since I was a little girl.
I'm  not a chef.
...although I grew up in with a long line of Southern women who love to cook.

 Something happened pretty early on last year, and I felt instant connections with other bloggers.
If you ask anyone who knows me well, they'd tell you that I easily & readily give myself away.
I started blogging a year ago as a creative outlet, and I'm doing it a year later because of the relationships.
The bloggers that I love so much stopped being known by the names of their blogs,
and I started calling them by their first names.
They are real people with real families and real talents and real struggles and real joys.

I know that with blogging, we don't get to live in the daily grind with each other,
but how sweet it is to like so many people for so many different reasons.
It's been so refreshing to meet people who appreciate the uniqueness of one another.
To celebrate my first bloggy birthday and the relationships that have been cultivated in this last year...
