Move in day is TOMORROW!!
I wanted to show you a few shots of our blank canvas before we add our things to the mix.
When you walk in the front door, the family room is what you see.
This is our dining room to the right as you walk in the front door.
I'm having a hard time picking a favorite room, but the light in this one is phenomenal.
To the right of the family room is the eat in area of our kitchen.
This house has a very open floor plan, which we LOVE.
(The door that you see is my pantry.)
This is the kitchen that is open to the family room and the eat in area.
I can hardly wait to host house guests.
In fact, our first ones will be staying with us this coming Friday night!
This is just another shot of the kitchen.
I wanted to show you a more close up picture of the countertops against the white cabinets/backsplash.
I'm up to my eyeballs in packing, so I'll be back in a few days with some details and new pictures!
Hopefully, the pictures will show all of our stuff unpacked and in place.
{My inner "over achiever" is in HIGH GEAR!}
{thankful for}
361. this new house and move in day.

awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSmiling so huge for you over here! Welcome home Tara!
ReplyDeleteTara I am so excited for you! My husband and I have never owned a home, with the nature of his job it is wisest to rent, and oh what I wouldnt give for a white kitchen :) So happy for you, I remember a year or so ago you posted your humble laundry room! Mine is in the garage and it meant so much to me that someone as talented as you had the same obstacles, and now I am so excited for you to get to pour into your own home! What a dream, it is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you and your family! Your home is GORGEOUS!!! I love your light fixtures and all that natural light pouring in. Hope the move goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty. I bet it's a nice feeling to have it all done. You've done a lot of work :)
ReplyDeleteOh, how exciting! I love your light fixtures! I think I commented on how great they were when you showcased them a while back, but I had to say again how great they are! Your little girl's dress is almost as adorable as she is!
ReplyDeleteExcited for you. Hope the move goes well and that pain goes away. Your little girl is so cute.
ReplyDeleteWooohoo!!! Looks GORGEOUS!!! The floors and light fixtures are amazing-can't believe it's a new build! And so much light! Welcome home!!
ReplyDeleteIts really pretty Tara. I love a blank canvas. I love it so much that I purposely leave my home quite bare to keep that all white canvas. Now living with a hubby and four older children who are all clutter bugs, it is difficult to do. But clutter can be beautiful too. I really like the eclectic artsy boho style of decor too. Your windows are so amazing that I hope you keep them open. Enjoy this blessed time...moving into a new home that you bought is one of the happiest moments in life.
ReplyDeleteWhile moving is tiring and so much work ... I love those first few days of excitement and the beginning of creating a home. Praying for a smooth transition and only GOOD surprises.
