I am so excited to announce a new home decor/ lifestyle e-course hosted by Jeanne Oliver!
She asked these five amazingly creative women to join her in producing
an on-line course that celebrates what really matters in our homes, which is our families.
Their desire is to help us learn how to make our homes beautifully and uniquely us.
Lets face it.
It's easy to look at magazines & blogland and get overwhelmed by what seems perfect.
We can get lost and distracted with everything that comes at us each day.
And, sometimes we get so distracted that
it keeps us from doing anything at all with our own homes.
it keeps us from doing anything at all with our own homes.
Well, it is time to exhale and find some delight in making your space more you!
Everyone should be surrounded by beauty in their homes,
and that beauty should come from the things that bring you joy in life.
I can honestly say that the most beautiful homes I've ever been in aren't
the cleanest and most perfectly decorated or the most organized.
They don't always look like they belong in a magazine.
They are the homes that ooze the family that lives inside them.
I think the hardest thing in decorating is figuring out exactly what brings your home to life.
You have to really understand and know what you & your family love and appreciate.
You have to learn to pay close attention to the things that bring joy and peace to you.

Oh I would love love love some help in our master bedroom! I want it to say, "wow"! Thanks for the chance to win! Love your house btw!
ReplyDeleteWould love to learn some new ideas and stretch my creativity!!!
ReplyDeleteMy entire house needs help but the one I would most love to have the biggest impact would be our master suite. I call it suite in hopes of the word inspiring me to do something over the top with a teeny tiny budget.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a fantastic laundry room !
ReplyDeleteI need help with our master bedroom! OF course the laundry room and living room are on my wish list as well! And yes, it does get overwhelming pouring over magazines, looking at blogs and pinterest!
ReplyDeleteI am going to blog about it now! I can't forget the start date~my wedding anniversary AND my daughter's birthday!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I recently got married,,,since we married later in life we each have our own "style" and we have no idea how to merge them... we love to cook so I am thinking maybe the kitchen but the bedroom could also benefit from a look that would be "ours"... actually all the rooms could use help...
ReplyDeleteoh now gotta go tell my fb peeps about it!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to win this! I'm in the process of creating an art studio in my home and it would be awesome to get some inspiration from these fabulous ladies!!
ReplyDeleteI would love ideas to help makeover our frumpy family room into a comfy, fabulous fun family room! INSPIRATION NEEDED HERE <3
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog for awhile now, but have never commented....and this seemed like a good time to start! I would love their help on my living room. My husband and I live in a townhouse so the walls you can see from the living room seem to connect to every other floor in the house so I have no clue where to start and stop wall color. Thanks for offering this very helpful giveaway! - Kristin
ReplyDeleteHow very fun! For sure our family room - it opens to our kitchen and sun room - and we spend most of our lives in this area of our home. it just isn't the pretty, happy space we'd like - HELP!

I'd love help with our office/guest room. It is teeny tiny but needs to serve many purposes. We are in a rental, so my usual custom-built by hubby solutions won't work this time. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Holly
I would love chance at this too. we are trying to figure out some ways to make our home feel more comfy and family oriented. BUT the room that we really need to work on is our Master bedroom. As parents to 3 kids...it is the one room in the house that we have not given much thought or attention to.
ReplyDeleteI would love a chance to win!! My whole house needs a makeover but the room that needs the most work is our master bedroom. It's the room that's been shoved aside and forgotten since everything else is what everyone sees. It's time that I put some hard work and loving attention into a room that should be a retreat from the hectic world. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway! I think our kitchen could use some TLC. ♥
ReplyDeleteMy problem is choosing only one room right now. Almost all of them are a mess! But I know most of them will come together in time. The one that stumps me: a huge "bonus room." We didn't have rooms like that living in the heart of the city. Now here I am with this giant room and it's crazy! Help!
ReplyDeleteI need help with our master bedroom flowing with our master bath; a room about to be renovated. What an awesome opportunity for someone.
ReplyDeleteWow! What an awesome opportunity to be a part of turning a blah room into an awe room!..I could use some help in my master bedroom or living room or if you want to take every room in my house, I could go for that!
ReplyDeleteOH gosh! I so need help in the Master and my 3 season screened in porch--its HUGE and so sad --it needs love!
ReplyDeleteI need help in my living room! I hope I win!
ReplyDeleteI would love some help on my multi-purpose craft/exercise/washroom. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI need help with my "spare bedroom" (we only have 2); my mom and daughter have been staying with us at the same time and it's my sewing and "storage" room and it desperately needs help!
ReplyDeleteOh this is VERY exciting. We just moved into a "new to us" home that needs help. My fingers are tightly crossed. Have a blessed weekend.
ReplyDeleteMany people enter our home and say that it is "cool" "interesting" "creative"- I love it. But then they walk to back and, cue the wah wah wah, frowny face music and they see my kitchen. Bleh. Major let down.
ReplyDeleteThe 1920"s charm of the front of my home is just not copacetic with the big bad 80s back end. The kitchen/family room has played a starring role in many a day dream-paint the cabinets? lose the pony wall? invest in new appliances? I would love to take this class to gain inspiration, direction and good old fashioned get it doneness!
I would love to get some creative ideas for decorating our coastal home. These women are all so talented. It would be such a pleasure to learn from them. Thanks for the chance to win.

I'm glad to find your blog from Jennifer Rizzo. I love your style and eclectic posts. :) Thank you for the opportunity to win a spot in Creatively Made Home. The room I need most help on is the living room. After 15 years in this house I still can't figure out how to decorate it!
ReplyDeleteHi Tara, Just discovered your blog and we have a lot of things in common. Can't wait to read more from you. I would love to win a spot in the class. My two boys have just recently left home, one is now married and attending law school, the other is working in investment banking in Chicago. (I live in Texas). I desperately need help- ideas-suggestions for what to do with our game room which is now pretty bare. Most of the stuff in there has left the house. Thanks for the opportunity to win a spot. Diana
ReplyDeleteI also tweeted about your giveaway. Diana
