Surprise. It's all the same stuff I used last fall when I decorated.
Oh wait.
I usually put my wheat on the dining room table, but I went wild this year and tried it on the mantle!
I keep vowing to change things up a bit, but every year, it just makes so much sense to use what I have.
Dave Ramsey and his financial peace mumbo-jumbo is permanently fixed in my head & heart.
There are so many beautiful mantles to see over at Centsational Girl
Have you seen what Layla and Kevin did to his brother's mantle?
Who else in the world would imagine spelling out GIVE THANKS with cardboard letters?
They are genius.
{thankful for}

Amen to Dave Ramsey and his words of wisdom!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful mantle. I wouldn't change it. Sometimes spending isn't required. I love the wheat in the pitcher.
ReplyDeletethe leaves tied with twine as a garland!? UM. I'm IN LOVE WITH THAT.
ReplyDeletefabulous idea - simple and sweet, Tara...xoxo

You're hysterical. Love how you "went wild" and put the wheat in a different spot. I'm like that with my Christmas decor. Everything had it's spot in my old house. I guess I'll have to get creative this year! :) xoxo!
ReplyDeleteIt's all so beautiful. Got sign lust!
ReplyDeleteLooks Great Love that Sign! Blessings~Cheers Kim
ReplyDeleteLooks great, and love the little orange owl. Thanks for reminding me of the wheat. Think I will add some to my table.
ReplyDeleteOh this is exactly what I would do....if I had a mantle! ;-) I love the pop of color with the owl. Target has the best owl stuff right now.....owl invasion! Cute candles and such. I love the twine and leaf simplicity, I must make one of these. I have some faux leaves from the Dollar store somewhere. Thank you for the inspiration! xo p.s. being a former Seattelite, I loved seeing that on your subway sign!
ReplyDeleteI meant Seattlelite....LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove it, those leaves are awesome did you make them?
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall!
