Catching Beauty at The Country Living Fair

My goodness.  It's been a whirl-wind of a weekend.
I finally made it to the Country Living Fair in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
My friend, Michele, flew in just for the occasion, and we made the most of our 36 hours together!!
That would be Michele in that picture above with HGTV's Cash and Cari star, Cari Cucksey.
Try to imagine the scene that Michele caused when she realized it was one of  her hgtv favorites.

It was an amazing weekend...even though we were told that several great venders weren't there this year.
Our only regret is that we didn't get to try the bbq sandwich and the homemade potato chips.
Believe me when I say, we ate our weight in good food, but we had to draw the line somewhere.

Well, one other regret is not getting a picture together at the beginning of the day
when we looked bright eyed and bushy tailed.
If we weren't so vain, I'd show you the shots from the end of the day when we looked like tired, old hags.

It was a total blast..we laughed and ate and walked til our legs about fell off.
We ended the day with a night in the swanky lanky Buckhead area of Atlanta in a high rise hotel.
We ate a fabulous meal together and called it an early night because we had to be up at 3am
for a very early morning flight!

Good friends...Good food...Good times!!
I'll be back later to show you pictures of my great finds.
