He will make your righteousness shine like a light
and your just cause like the Noonday sun.
{Psalm 37:6}
I sat and cried when I read Olivia's story. She had never shared it before she joined African Style,
which is Noonday's Ugandan name for their jewelry group.
Her mother died when she was just a toddler, and her father sexually abused her for years on end.
She spent her life feeling alone and with no real sense of family.
Can you imagine never, ever having shared your story with another human?
Can you imagine your life without family, without your people?
God led her to Kampala, and she began working for African Style/Noonday.
Now, she is able to purchase food for herself and her daughter and rent their very own room.
The people she works with have become her family.
He is teaching her to trust that he has always been with her and will be with her until the very end.
All that the enemy meant for harm in her life, God has rescued & redeemed.
{Hebrews 6:19}
Here is one of her beautifully handcrafted creations called The Olivia.
She has a name and face and a story that fits perfectly into God's bigger story.
His story is one of grace, mercy, and love, and it reaches down and makes beauty from ashes in each of us.
The heart of this amazing company is a just cause, and God is making it shine unto the world like the Noonday sun.
Their passion is to connect us with the lives of the artisans.
They are offering one of you
a $50 gift certificate!!
Visit Noonday's website to see everything in their new Spring collection,
then come back and tell me what you'll spend your $50 gift certificate on when you win!!
While you're there, read as many of the artisans' stories as you can. You'll stand amazed at God's power.

Thanks for taking time to check out Noonday!
When we choose to purchase from companies like this, we are choosing to have a voice for the oppressed.
Jesus is near to the broken-hearted, and he came to set the captives free.
